My first 5-part slipcast climbing cup design! More complex mold = more visible seams and irregularities, but also more personality. Each piece is painstakingly hand-painted and hand-finished. This mold will be reworked, making this batch a true collectible First Edition.

This piece is handmade by Louise in her studio in Toronto. Louise starts with making a detailed hand-sculpted prototype then turns this design into custom molds. These unique molds are cast in liquid clay, fired, then painted and coated in glazes, and fired again in a manual electric kiln.
Each mug is made to excite those climbing fingertips and designed to mimic the look of a climbing wall.
Made from mid-fire stoneware, food and microwave safe.
Hand-washing recommended!
Being handmade, each individual piece may vary slightly in color, size and shape. Slight imperfections are an imprint of the handmade process.
All materials and glazes used to create this item are commercially sourced and suitable for food/drink contact.

HAND-WASH RECOMMENDED to keep the surface texture design from wearing out.
Not recommended to put in dishwasher.
Microwave Safe.
WARNING: The hold handle will still get hot if the cup is filled with freshly boiled water or put in the microwave for more than a minute.
